The runtime for Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 has been revealed and it’s among the longest DC films to date.
DC fans will finally get the chance to see Wonder Woman 1984 now that the film will be viewable both in the theaters and at home with the unprecedented move of Warner Bros. making the Gal Gadot-led sequel available on HBO Max. As we inch closer to the film’s December release date, new details are starting to come out.
Tickets for Wonder Woman 1984‘s limited theatrical release went on sale today along with some other goodies. Not only was a new IMAX poster revealed, we now know that Wonder Woman 1984 is 2 hours and 31 minutes long. The sequel’s runtime is very close to the first Wonder Woman solo film starring Gal Gadot, clocking in at 2 hours and 29 minutes. As far as other DC movies are concerned, it falls in-between The Dark Knight and Man of Steel with Zack Snyder’s Watchmen still at the top of the list.

Full details on the sequel’s plot are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with a formidable new adversary named Cheetah and businessman Maxwell Lord. Wonder Woman was last seen in Zack Snyder’s DC superhero team-up movie Justice League.
Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.
