The campaign to save the Daredevil series after Netflix cancellation has geared up for a final push as the rights revert back to Marvel.
In the two years since Netflix cancelled Daredevil, fans have campaigned for the series to be revived by the streaming service as well as trying to prove to Marvel Studios that the character deserves a second chance. The mature edge that the series brought to Daredevil matched the tone of some of the hero’s adventures from the comics and it really struck a chord with audiences. It sounds like the cast would like another go around too, with Vincent D’Onofrio stating earlier in the year that he thinks Marvel Studios should bring Charlie Cox back at the very least.
The @RenewDaredevil account on Twitter has begun rallying fans online to push the campaign for a final time as the rights revert back to Marvel from Netflix following the two year moratorium. Unfortunately Charlie Cox isn’t convinced that a fourth season of Netflix’s Daredevil will ever come to fruition, but maybe with a final surge of fan support Marvel will be convinced enough to bring the star back for the role. Take a look at the Daredevil campaign below.
