Woody Harrelson gets a symbiote makeover in a concept design picturing what Carnage will look like in Tom Hardy’s Venom sequel.
Although it’ll be some time before audiences see Tom Hardy face off with Woody Harrelson in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the actor behind Cletus Kasady gets a symbiotic makeover as this concept design imagines the serial killer’s new look. Set photos had previously surfaced online earlier in the year giving fans the first images of Harrelson in the role (presumably) after Kasady breaks out of prison.
The design comes from Willgray_art on Instagram, showing off Carnage’s blood red look alongside his snarling jaws. Hopefully we get to see Woody Harrelson let loose as Cletus in his human form as well as in his symbiote before he fight’s Tom Hardy’s Venom. It’ll also be interesting to see if the sequel will just adapt the Carnage origin story or if it’ll lean into a particular comic book arc. Take a look at Woody Harrelson as Carnage for the Venom sequel below.
Are you excited to see Woody Harrelson as Carnage? What did you think to the first film? Who else do you want to show up in Tom Hardy’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage? Sound-off in the comments below!
Here is the plot synopsis for the first Venom film:
The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers – transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?
Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script written by Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel, Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Ron Cephas Jones, and Woody Harrelson.
Venom is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set to be released on June 25th, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest info on Venom and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more great video content!
