Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 writer and director James Gunn revealed that he’s finished writing the upcoming sequel from Marvel Studios.
Although the circumstances that led to James Gunn working on Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker were less than ideal – comic book fans have a wealth of extremely exciting projects to look forward to in the future. And the director recently revealed that he’s finished writing Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3. Production on the third cosmic adventure will seemingly start after Peacemaker has finished filming in June next year.
The director recently revealed that after his Disney exit, he nearly directed a Superman movie instead of taking on The Suicide Squad. But when a fan on Twitter asked about work on Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3, James Gunn explained that the script is written and most of the heads of production have been hired for the film.
