Set photos from Superman & Lois filming in Vancouver has revealed Tyler Hoechlin’s brand-new suit inspired by the one worn in the DC Rebirth comic book relaunch.
While many are waiting for the return of Henry Cavill’s Superman on the big screen, we will be getting Tyler Hoechlin’s Man of Steel on the small screen with his own series alongside Lois Lane set in the Arrowverse. Ahead of the show’s debut, The CW has already ordered Superman & Lois to series and is expected to debut next year.
Filming for Superman & Lois is underway in Vancouver and it appears Tyler Hoechlin will be sporting a new suit in the series. The set photos shared by Canadagraphs revealed Hoechlin’s new Superman suit that appears to be inspired by the pages of DC Rebirth. You can see the set photos below.

Full details on The CW’s Superman and Lois are being kept under wraps. The series is described as revolving “around the world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”
In addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Superman & Lois stars Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the titular characters, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing. Written by The Flash’s Todd Helbing, the series will be executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.
