Scott Eastwood steps into a surprising new Superman suit to replace Henry Cavill in the DC Extended Universe.
Although it’s still not completely clear when (or if) Henry Cavill will reprise his Superman role in the DCEU, fans have discussed a number of different actors who could follow him up on the big screen. Cavill is currently busy filming The Witcher after a brief hiatus due to the ongoing pandemic, and although we’ll next see him in the Justice League cut heading to HBO Max next year, it could be time for another star (like Scott Eastwood) to don the cape and tights.
A new design from barrett.digital on Instagram replaces Henry Cavill with Scott Eastwood in a completely fresh Superman suit for the DCEU going forward. In the description the artist explains that if Kal-El does indeed show up somewhere in The Batman, then the Pacific Rim and Suicide Squad star could be a good pick for the role. The costume is quite detailed, offering a modern and intricate take on the hero’s classic look (complete with a strange set of new trunks). Take a look at Scott Eastwood as Superman below.

Would you like to see Scott Eastwood as Superman? Should the DCEU replace Henry Cavill? Do you think we’ll see Superman Easter eggs in The Batman? Sound-off in the comments below!
Henry Cavill’s Superman was last seen in Justice League:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League Cut is set to hit HBO Max in 2021. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood regarding all the latest news on Scott Eastwood and Henry Cavill’s Superman, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
