Anna Diop’s Starfire will be under the spotlight in Titans season three says one of the executive producers behind the HBO Max show.
After Blackfire arrived on Earth at the end of Titans season three, executive producer Greg Walker teased that Anna Diop’s Starfire will have a bigger story this time around. Most recently fans got a look at Kory Anders’ new look in the third season thanks to the director of photography on the HBO Max series. But Walker explained that Starfire will have to dig through her own past as she searches for her place in the universe.
Greg Walker spoke to TVLine about Titans season three, but chose not to answer whether the series will head to Starfire’s home-planet, Tamaran. He did explain that Blackfire’s arrival on Earth is the catalyst for her journey of self-discovery, although it’ll be interesting to see how characters like Red Hood and Jonathan Crane’s Scarecrow play into that story. Take a look at the executive producer discussing the focus on Anna Diop’s Starfire below.
“We’re planning a big season for Kory this year. The arrival of her sister/nemesis Blackfire launches Kory down a path where she uncovers both secrets about her past and clues to her destiny… all of which will lead to her true calling as Starfire. Plus, we have a few other surprises in store for hardcore Starfire fans this season.”
