Two more ex-eBay Workers Acknowledge to Functions in harassment Strategy

Two former eBay workers have confessed for their roles within an effort to terrorize a Massachusetts few with threatening social networking messages and upsetting deliveries of items like live lions delivered to their property.

Brian Gilbert, 52, who had been senior director of specific operations for eBay’s Global Security Team, also Stephanie Stockwell, 26, also a former director of eBay’s International Intelligence Center, pleaded guilty on Thursday to charges of conspiracy to perpetrate cyberstalking and conspiracy to tamper with witnesses.

Emails seeking comment were shipped to their lawyers on Friday.

They’re one of seven eBay workers billed in the strategy to frighten the few, who police say printed an internet newsletter with articles which were critical of the business.

Police say Gilbert confessed to drafting threatening Twitter messages targeting the bunch. In addition, he suggested bringing records that could produce the few”look mad” to authorities who had been helping the bunch. Prosecutors state Stockwell utilized an anonymous email accounts to dictate dwell spiders to be transmitted to the bunch.

The strategy also included pornographic magazines together with your husband’s name on these delivered to their neighbor’s home and intends to split in the few garage to put in a GPS device in their vehicle, prosecutors say.
