New set photos from Netflix’s The Witcher reveal Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer and Freya Allan’s Ciri filming scenes for season two together.
As work on the second season of The Witcher continues, new images from the set reveal a look at Yennefer and Ciri working together. The show is currently filming in Durham in the United Kingdom and previous photos from the Netflix series showed Ciri at Kaer Morhen, a castle housing Witchers training at the School of the Wolf. The latest photos of Freya Allan’s Ciri show the actress in a similar costume, so clearly the character is getting ready to do some monster-slaying of her own.
The new images from the Daily Mail showed the actresses behind Yennefer and Ciri riding horses together in their impressively detailed costumes for The Witcher season two. It’s not clear if they were just rehearsing a scene or filming, because they seemed to be laughing and making jokes with one another. At least Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer is a little happier in these images, the previous photos from the second season showed her in chains. Take a look at the photos of Yennefer and Ciri in The Witcher season two below.
