Anthony Mackie explains what life has been like on the set of The Falcon and The Winter Solider ever since filming resumed with several new COVID-19 protocols in place.
The Falcon and The Winter Solider was initially supposed to kick-off Marvel Studios’ new life on Disney Plus with television. Since filming on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was put on pause back in the spring, the series has been delayed with no release date attached. Not much filming is left for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but WandaVision will now be the first project to come from Phase 4.
Filming for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently taking place in the Czech Republic and Anthony Mackie is still getting used to the new safety protocols on set. Mackie admits to Entertainment Tonight that he isn’t liking the experience so far:
“Everybody’s very afraid of each other. The food is bad because they have to pack it up somewhere else and bring it to us in Ziploc bags. Yeah, it’s awful. You’re literally living in quarantine. It’s not like the NBA bubble where they had a barbershop and friends to hang out with. If you get within six feet of somebody, there’s some little Czech dude coming and poking you with a stick saying, ‘You have to move,’ So it’s rough.”
