A couple of dozen QAnon and 8chan-related websites were knocked offline briefly when a DDoS-protection seller disabled their accessibility, based on a post by safety writer Brian Krebs.
The sites –with titles such as 8kun. Web, 8kun. Best, 8chan. Se, along with qanonbin.com–have been linked to the Internet through the US-based ISP VanwaTech, which subsequently”had one point of collapse on its own ending,” Krebs wrote. {“The swath of Web addresses the a variety of 8kun/QAnon websites were being shielded from {} and incessant distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks by Hillsboro, Ore. established CNServers LLC.”|}
That changed yesterday when safety researcher Ron Guilmette known as CNServers, which allegedly did not recognize that it had been providing security protection to the sites. “Within minutes of the call, CNServers advised its client Spartan Host Ltd., which will be registered at Belfast, Northern Ireland–which it wouldn’t longer be supplying DDoS protection to its record of 254 Web addresses which Spartan Host was routing behalf of VanwaTech,” Krebs composed. Those 254 addresses comprised the couple dozen linked to QAnon along with 8chan, that is currently called 8kun.
