Is BP going”beyond oil” this time?

Reinvention is the holy grail of industry, both for technology firms hoping to bend the arc of the world and old-line companies urgently trying to dismiss oblivion. Two long ages back, Fortune hosted a convention in Chicago that spotlighted tales of reinvention, accomplished and aspirational.
