Just dreadful.
Based on police officers, the boys’ mom recognized two automobiles were speeding into their leadership and was able to pull her kids to safety. Regrettably the 2 brothers, Mark and Jacob, were all struck. Among those boys had been declared dead in the scene, another was taken to a local hospital where he died a couple of hours after. Just dreadful.
Based on police reports, police are still looking for a few of those automobiles and its own driver. But, among both drivers was identified since Rebecca Grossman. Even the 57-year-old is the founder and chair of this Grossman Burn Foundation, also a Calabasas-based charity that promotes alternatives for therapy and care of burn victims. She’s the former writer of Westlake Magazine, also has been admired for her global humanitarian work.
Police believed Grossman was drunk at the time of this mishap and she didn’t remain at the scene following the wreck. Her white Mercedes-Benz had evident front-end harm, and has been found a half mile away from the scene of this offense and throw away.
Grossman was charged with 2 counts of vehicular manslaughter and among DUI. She had been released early Thursday afternoon about $2 million bond, but has yet to enter pleas to the charges.
A vigil at the place had been held to get the boys on Wednesday night. Researchers have asked that anyone with prospects or advice about the crash or instant automobile contact 818-878-1808.
