It’s safe to say Fleetwood Mac is just as obsessed with the viral TikTok user skateboarding to their hit “Dreams” as the rest of the internet.
“We love this!” the venerable rock band tweeted on Saturday (Sept. 26) while re-sharing the delightful video on their feed.
In the cheery clip, which made its rounds over the weekend, TikTok user @doggface208 — who calls himself Dogg Face — is seen happily skating down a road and sipping from a large bottle of cranberry juice while the band’s 1977 hit plays in the background.
Then, just when you think the song is an overlay, Dogg Face begins lip synching along to Stevie Nicks’ famous vocals as she croons, “It’s only right that you should/ Play the way you feel it,” in the opening verse.
So far, the original video has garnered more than 2.7 million likes and 13 million views on TikTok, as well as an additional 20 million views after making its way to Twitter.
Released as the second official single off their iconic LP Rumours, “Dreams” serves as Fleetwood Mac’s sole No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 over their long career as one of the most successful rock bands of all time.
