Lil Yachty was arrested last week after authorities said he was traveling more than 150 mph through downtown Atlanta, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The 23-year-old rapper, born Miles McCollum, was driving a white Ferrari before he was pulled over on the Downtown Connector near University Avenue. He was then charged with reckless driving and speeding. Though AJC reported that he was sent to Atlanta City Jail, Yachty took to Instagram on Monday (Sept. 28) to clarify that he is “not in jail” with a video showing off wads of cash.

The recent arrest comes just three months after the rapper totaled his red 2020 Ferrari 488 in June his Atlanta hometown after spinning out of control on a freeway amid heavy rainfall. “So thankful for my life. Never take it for granted,” he tweeted before sharing images of the accident with the caption “blessed.”
