Pandora will re-air the Jan. 2020 special “A Love Supreme: Ruth Bader Ginsburg On Opera” starting this weekend. The special recorded with the late Supreme Court justice who passed last week at age 87 features the Notorious RBG weighing in on her favorite musical genre and sharing what it means to her.
The re-broadcast will air at noon on Sunday (Sept. 27) on SiriusXM’s Met Opera Radio and is available now on Pandora Stories.
The two-hour special was recorded at the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this year by host Julie James and originally aired in March on SiriusXM and Pandora Stories.
Ginsburg was eulogized by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Wednesday with a nod to her love of classical music. “It has been said that Ruth wanted to be an opera virtuoso but became a rock star instead,” Roberts said. “She found her stage right behind me in our courtroom.”
The diminutive jurist, who developed an outsized personality thanks to her wit and deep well of wisdom, was also mourned by millions after her death last Friday of complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer.
