Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett lead the 2020 CMT Music Awards nominations, which CMT announced on Wednesday (Sept. 23).
The six artists have three nominations each, spanning categories such as video of the year, male video of the year, female video of the year and breakthrough video of the year. 2020’s ceremony also includes The Chicks who received their first CMT nomination since 2007.
Blanco Brown, Caylee Hammack, Gabby Barrett, Ingrid Andress, Riley Green and Travis Denning are among this year’s first-time nominees.
The 2020 CMT Music Awards will air on October 21 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on CMT with a simulcast across MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop TV and TV Land. Each winner is selected by the fans, with voting open now at vote.cmt.com.
