Facebook has stated it will require exceptional and aggressive steps to”limit the flow of content” on its own stage when November’s presidential elections descends into violent or insanity civic unrest.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Nick Clegg, the provider’s head of international affairs, said it had drawn up plans for how to deal with a selection of results, such as widespread civic unrest or even”the political issues” of getting peer reviewed votes depended more quickly than mail-in ballots, that will play a bigger part in this election on account of this coronavirus pandemic.

“You will find a few break-glass selections available to people if there is in fact a very busy and, even worse still, barbarous group of conditions,” Mr Clegg explained, though he stopped short of elaborating further on the steps had been on the desk.
