In the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenille Townes played with a moving “Someone ’s Daughter” for its 2020 ACM awards.
After his performance in the Bluebird Cafe, Luke Combs introduced Townes, who won new female performer of the year in the service.
“that I ’m trying to receive this honour in the academy,” ” Townes explained. “that I ’m thrilled to be here enjoying a song which has been inspired by a young woman standing on the side of the Storm, holding on a cardboard sign. It’s reminder we’ve got a story and I believe particularly in such timeswe actually want each other. ”
Alone with her guitarTownes subsequently went to a mental performance of her own song.
The ACM awards are made by dick clark productions, that will be possessed by MRC Media, the parent firm of Billboard.
