Defending Tour de France winner Egan Bernal has pulled from this race before a colossal point from the Alps, his Ineos Grenadiers staff said Wednesday. Bernal was fighting since last weekend point from the Jura hills, in which he fell over seven minutes to the key contenders and slid out of controversy. Bernal was in 16th place overall, 19 minutes and fours minutes behind race leader Primoz Roglic.
