The episode count for The Book of Boba Fett has finally been revealed a month before the Star Wars series debuts on Disney Plus.
It’s been nearly a year since The Mandalorian season two wrapped up. At the end of that finale, we learned a Boba Fett spin-off was on the way after the legendary character was reintroduced in the Star Wars canon.
On Monday, Lucasfilm released a brand-new promo along with some posters featuring Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. Leading up to the show’s December debut, it has been unknown how many episodes the series will be. The Mandalorian had eight episodes in each of its first two seasons and now we finally know what the count for The Book of Boba Fett will be.
Along with the two posters shared on the official Star Wars Twitter account, it was also confirmed The Book of Boba Fett will run for seven episodes. There’s currently no word on if the show will have a second season.

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spinoff with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Steph Green, and Kevin Tancharoen. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.
