Carl Weathers Confirms ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Has Started Filming

Carl Weathers revealed he returned as Greef Karga on Wednesday with The Mandalorian season three now filming.

It’s been a long road to the production of The Mandalorian season three so far. It was initially believed the Star Wars series would begin shooting earlier this year after The Book of Boba Fett wrapped. However, a report suggested that The Mandalorian wouldn’t start filming on its third season until Obi-Wan Kenobi wrapped.

Filming on Obi-Wan Kenobi is now complete, and we now have confirmation that The Mandalorian is finally shooting its third season, which is rumored to be the last. Carl Weathers previously said filming would begin in September and that he would also be back as a director. Now, Weathers shared on Twitter that he officially started filming for season three on Wednesday:

Mandalorian, season #3 begins for Yours Truly, on tomorrow. Greef Karga will be back on Disney+. #BePeace
