You may recall back in September, we held our first ever Nintendo Life Indie Spotlight, announcing brand new games coming to Switch. Among this lineup was Cathedral, a promising 2D retro-styled Metroidvania from Decemberborn Interactive, reminiscent of Shovel Knight. Having launched on PC back in 2019, it’s now coming to Switch next week on February 18th.
Within Cathedral, we’ll be playing an amnesiac heroic knight, waking up in a different world with no memories to how they ended up here. Exploring a non-linear fortress, you’ve been tasked with finding five legendary elemental orbs, placed under the protection of five guardians by a powerful demi-god.
