Remember Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!? The launch of the first mainline Pokémon games on Switch feels like a small lifetime ago now, but The Pokémon Company has treated them to a charming festive new TV spot.
The games were hit with mixed reactions from fans when they were first announced – the ties to smartphone title Pokémon GO and the stripped-back nature of the games’ RPG mechanics left some a little underwhelmed, but a cute reimagining of Pokémon Yellow’s Kanto region and the introduction of Pokémon appearing on the overworld were real plus points.
