David Prowse, who played Darth Vader from the first three Star Wars movies, has died at age 85. Prowse’s representative supported the news into the Hollywood Reporter on Saturday evening.
Prowse was a body builder that stood six feet, seven inches tall if he first won the Vader function for the first 1977 Star Wars. Prowse also played with Vader at The Empire Strikes Back along with Return of the Jedi.
Back in 2016 interview, Prowse explained that George Lucas provided him a choice between playing Darth Vader or even Chewbacca. Prowse picked Vader, along with also the Chewbacca role moved into Peter Mayhew, that died this past year.
