AT&T has announced another round of price hikes for DirecTV satellite and also U-verse TV solutions, with yearly costs set to grow around $9 beginning January 17, 2021.

“Because of increased programming expenses, we are adjusting the purchase cost of our movie packs,” AT&T stated in a note on its site . “Gradually, TV community owners raise the prices that they charge DirecTV for its right to broadcast their own films, shows, and athletic occasions” Obviously, AT&T itself decides a number of the programming costs since it possesses Time Warner.

A $5 per month growth is coming into DirecTV’s 160-channel”Entertainment” bundle, which now has a benchmark rate of $97 per month. A $7 per month growth is coming into the 185-channel Choice bundle, now at $115 per month. A $9 growth is coming to the 250-channel Ultimate bundle (now $142) along with the 330-channel Premier bundle (now $197).
