Girls executives say That the pandemic is exacerbating gender Prejudice

This season is difficult on working girls. They’re shedding their occupations and departing the job at greater rates than men. And of course college closures are creating more work for moms .

So just how are girls in the very best? How can they view the pandemic altering their job?

To discover, Fortune researched a set of over 600 women leaders at our Powerful Women (MPW) community. Overall, we obtained 112 answers in September. One of people, 88% perform on a minumum of one corporate or non profit board and 30 percent are CEOs. 

One of the girls executives surveyed from Fortune, 66 percent say that the pandemic is exacerbating sex prejudice.

The pandemic is leading to much more childcare work for parents–and a lot of this is falling into moms. However, 57 percent of women leaders advised Fortune their company isn’t offering extra child-care funds or compensated leave. On the reverse side, 43 percent of them state their companies are expanding gains for parents. Those businesses, based on our poll results, are somewhat more inclined to be directed by a female CEO.

The pandemic has been taking a psychological toll on women leaders also. While a large number of respondents state their psychological wellness hasn’t already been negatively affected, nearly 4 in 10 say their psychological wellbeing has.
