Florida Goes voter registration deadline Following Site keeps crashing

Florida’s secretary of state has expanded the deadline to get voter registration to 7pm now. Registration formally closed {} , however difficulties with the nation’s site prevented some Floridians out of finishing their enrollment in time.

Laurel Lee, the Florida secretary of state made by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, announced that the shift following noon on Tuesday, providing voters that missed the former deadline than seven weeks to test again.

Voting rights advocates sued Lee on Tuesday afternoon, asserting that the site issues had deprived Floridians of the right to vote. They pointed out that Florida’s voter registration site includes a record of crashing under heavy loads.
