“A boondoggle”:” Trump admin. ‘s $300M COVID-19 advertisement campaign flounders

The Trump government’s more-than-$300-million”public marketing and awareness effort” about the COVID-19 pandemic is viewed as A-list actors back away and employees in the Department of Health and Human Services state resistance, based on reporting from Politico.

The effort –coordinated by prior Trump effort official Michael Caputo–has been made to”defeat grief” and strengthen confidence at the Trump government’s response to the outbreak. A fundamental characteristic of the campaign could be movie interviews involving actors and government officials, who’d go over the pandemic as well as the national reaction.

To pull it off, Caputo and his group requisitioned $300 million that Congress had {} to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition they made a record of over 30 big-name actors They expected to appear at the Health Department’s movies, such as Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Billy Joel, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, Bon Jovi, and Madonna.
