Report: Trump admin Searching into Tencent’s US Gambling investments

Even the US government is allegedly inspecting Chinese technology giant Tencent as well as the US gaming firms where it has an investment . Bloomberg News the Treasury Department’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the US (CFIUS) has requested firms such as Epic Games and Riot Games to answer questions regarding their own data-security criteria, based on”people knowledgeable about the issue.”

CFIUS has the ability to analyze international investment in US firms when these investments might have an effect on national safety. Historically, which has frequently meant analyzing foreign entry to US natural sources or military secrets, even more lately, however, CFIUS has obtained an enlarged interest in possible international access to US client information.
