Back in 2007,” Taiwan-based PC maker Acer purchased that the once-iconic Gateway manufacturer so as to stick a thumb in the eye of rival OEM Lenovo and boost its US market presence. From the 13 years sincethe Gateway new has languished largely fresh, whereas Acer built its name at the USA directly. Even the cow is back today, however, using a brand new line of largely funding, Walmart-exclusive Gateway notebooks.

The new lineup ranges from $180 to $1,000, and many models look fascinating –{} we looked closer, we’ve discovered that a recognizable and not especially appealing title behind the brandnew Gateway can be making two versions of Android tabletcomputers — a 8″ GWAT8-1 that doesn’t seem to be accessible retail nevertheless, along with also a 10″ version available in Walmart for $67. Attempting to locate more detail about the GWAT8-1 led us into some surprising discovery–it is really made (or imported) from EVOO.
